We are always looking for new volunteers to assist us in running the store. We have the following positions available:
Cashier (greets customers, points out sales, operates the cash register and credit card machine and bags sold merchandise.)
Pricer (prices and displays seasonal clothing, linens, and other merchandise as needed.)
Sales Attendant (assists cashier, assists customers, helps with referrals, displays clothing, returns the tried-on clothing to their proper racks.)
Intake Worker (receives donations, places clothing and shoes into bins, places kitchen items on carts, checks and prices electrical items and lighting fixtures, assists with furniture.)
Sorter (sorts and hangs seasonal clothing, prepares out-of-season clothing for storage; sorts purses, and writes prices in shoes of all seasons.
The store is open Tuesday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and on Wednesdays to Saturdays from 10 am to 4 pm. You have a choice of day and time. The first shift starts at 9:45 am to 1:00 pm and the second shift from 12:45 pm to 4:00 pm. The Tuesday evening shift is from 3:45 pm to 7 pm.
You also have a choice of the week that you work. We prefer that you work at least twice a month and that you may be able to work weekly if so desired.
